This year’s virtual conference took the overarching theme of tackling inequalities in the education system. London schools have a strong record of success in tackling disadvantage and inequality, but there is always more to do, especially in this extraordinary year. Londoned2021 invited academics and practitioners to come together to explore the evidence and share innovative yet practical strategies to support all students to excel.
Each day of the conference investigated a different aspect of inequality.
All presentations can be found on the agenda tab and will remain on this website so you can come and view them in your own and time and share with your network!
LondonEd 2021 is presented in partnership with The Greater London Authority.
This year’s conference is kindly sponsored by BERA and ASPE, education organisations who believe in the power of using evidence informed practice and research in schools to secure the best outcomes for children.
Hear from Gerry Czerniawski, Professor of Education and BERA Council Member as he introduces the conference and explains the importance of working collaboratively to bring education research to life, by joining up theory and practice.
